Don't worry about teh spikes since the Gaea Armor makes the spikes unable to kill you. Get the patterns down and destroy each part. Red Eye - This moves to the center of the room and fires 2 streams of shots that spin around the room.įireball - This appears at the bottom once the walls close in and spikes appear at the floor (and sometimes on parts of the walls, too).
Green Eye - this fires blue shots at you in a constant stream. It's basically the 2nd boss from X1 with almost the same strategy:īlue Eye - this will follow you around, moving 3 times before returning to its socket. Okay, this one threw me for a loop because in the 2nd half of Zero Stage 2 you have to wall-jump across pits while climbing upwards, and the Gaea armor does not air dash. After beating one of the eight main bosses at level 4 or higher, you'll be given the options 'Weapon + Life' and 'Weapon + Energy'. As said before in other guides, you need the Gaea Armor parts: they're located in the stages for Spiral Pegasus, Burn Dinorex, Dark Necrobat, and Spike Rosered.
